Eton College


Eton College, founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, is one of the oldest schools in the country. The historic buildings of this foundation are an integral part of the British Isles and many famous people, including 19 prime ministers and royal princes, have been educated here! Ordinary admission includes the school yard, college chapel and the Museum of Eton Life where a short video shows life at Eton today.

Snakes & Ladders


Snakes and Ladders Indoor Adventure Playground Slough, is based in Berkshire. We're easy to find and there's ample parking.

The huge three tiered climbing frame is filled to the brim with slides, ball ponds, tunnels and rope climbs and cannot be beaten when it comes to youngsters letting off steam.

A comfortable coffee shop overlooks the main playframe and provides hot and cold drinks and snacks suitable for all the family.

An air hockey table offers entertainment for children and adults alike and the electric motor bikes with their special racetrack is a must for all the kids and a perfect end to a visit to Snakes and Ladders.

Slough Museum


Situated at the eastern end of Slough High Street, the Museum is open Wednesday to Saturday 11.30-4pm. There are two exhibition galleries celebrating Slough’s past, present and future as well as a research and activity room where you can get your ‘hands-on’ the collections.

The museum is run by a friendly team of paid staff, volunteers and trustees, all of whom are committed to preserving the fascinating history of Slough and its people. They are here to help you explore your own past within this ever-developing town and ensure that visitors to the area see what Slough really has to offer.

Shopping


Slough Town Centre is a hive of activity. The central feature is the huge TESCO superstore (The largest in Europe!) , which overlooks the main road. Across the road from the supermarket giant is the High Street. There are two large shopping centres alonside the street, which are both modern and host a large variety of retailers. More shops can be found on the High Street itself. Slough is well known in the local area for its shopping facilities and a day out in Slough will be prefect for those shoppaholics among you.

Black Park


On London's western doorstep lies the heart of Buckinghamshire's beautiful countryside, Black Park Country Park is open every day of the year. The Park offers the ideal location in which to relax and enjoy the countryside

Black Park is set within 530 acres of attractive woodland, grassland and heathland with a centre-piece lake. There are many recreational opportunities for the visitor: waterside and woodland walks, a lakeside cafe, orienteering course and a children's woodland play area.

Windsor Castle


Windsor Castle is an official residence of The Queen and the largest occupied castle in the world. A Royal home and fortress for over 900 years, the Castle remains a working palace today.


Visitors can walk around the State Apartments, extensive suites of rooms at the heart of the working palace. For part of the year visitors can also see the Semi State rooms, which are some of the most splendid interiors in the castle. They are furnished with treasures from the Royal Collection including paintings by Holbein, Rubens, Van Dyck and Lawrence, fine tapestries and porcelain, sculpture and armour.

Within the Castle complex there are many additional attractions, including the Drawings Gallery, Queen Mary's dolls' house, and the fourteenth-century St. George's Chapel, the burial place of ten sovereigns and setting for many Royal weddings.
